August Favorites

What's up guys?! Today's post is obviously my August favs... beauty products that I've been consistently using for the month of August. I love listing my favs each month because it's when I get the chance to let you in on what beauty products I'm loving aside from all of the outfit posts.

I'm going to try my best to keep it short and simple because I tend to babble on and on when it comes to make up hah! Let's dive in, shall we?!

Mac's blush in Pink Swoon

I wanted a light pinky color for the summer, something that doesn't call for too much attention because I usually like that main focus on my lips... this is that color. It may look very bright in the container but it's actually very settle when it's on the skin. I think it looks fabulous on dark complexion! (I'm an NC44)

Maybelline BB Cream

For the summer, I like to stay away from heavy foundation because it just feels...sticky icky! I'm not too huge on powder foundation either so what's my solution? A tinted moisturizer. It's very light weight but still give me a little bit of coverage and it also gives some protection from the sun. I say not bad at all.

Revlon Cherries In The Snow

This is a great blue under toned red. LOVE! If you want to experiment with red for the first time but feeling intimidated, I would give this a try. It's that red that won't jump out at you.

Revlon Stormy Pink

This is not only my favorite for the month of August, I'll go ahead and say it's my favorite of the summer! This color is just absolutely gorgeous for my skin tone and I seriously get compliments all the time whenever I wear this. LOVE! Oh btw, it's a matte, major points!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough As Taupe

I like to use this as an eye primer when I'm doing the black smokey eye. This is some serious cream eye shadow... a shower WILL NOT remove this stuff, you're going to need make up remover.

Mac eye shadow in Swiss Chocolate

I don't like to experiment with colors of the rainbows when it comes to my eyes, I stick to my neutrals. This is a great brown for the crease.

Mac lipstick in Rebel

I've been wanting this lipstick for the longest and I'm just stoked that it's finally part of my lipstick collection. This is a great color for night time, also during the day now that Fall is on it's way.

I hope this was helpful in some ways and do let me know if you use any of these products already or which one you would like to try!
