I went out to dinner and the bar with my girlfriends this weekend. I haven't seen these girls in probably over a year now but every time we hook up, we have no problem picking up where we left off.
We had Korean hot pot in Boston at a place called Shabu Zen. If you are ever in the area, you definitely have to check it out. You basically get a pot of different flavored broth (we got plain old chicken and korean kimche broth) with raw veggies, meat, and seafood on the side. Then you cook it yourself by throwing the food in the pot, it's a really fun way of eating with great company. I also just really enjoy the idea of sharing food, it makes it taste that much better.
After that we went out to a nearby bar and just enjoyed ourselves while dancing the night away. Besides waking up to a cold the next morning, I feel really blessed to have such an amazing, fun group of friends!
